The journey to this moment with you has been in constant motion as far back as my mind can travel. I can pinpoint that moment being in 1984 because it was the year two of my passions entered into my life. Hip-hop and chess! Hip-hop has helped shape my identity while chess has assisted me in strategizing my next moves in life. The Next Move: In Translation are my shared life experiences and lessons learned through the lenses of chess and hip hop. A life manual of sorts.
